Source: bandai.comLike the original, released in 1996, “Tamagotchi On” will allow users to raise a virtual pet, feed it and care for it. The novelty also includes a game in the application, through which users get access to seasonal events, and also earn “Gotchi points” on purchases in the virtual store.
The application “Tamagotchi On” functions as a service for communicating with friends and exchanging gifts. It also has the function of finding partners, which you can later marry to create a new generation of virtual pets.
Since the launch of the toy, about 50 versions of Tamagotchi have already been released. In 2013, an improved version was released as a free mobile application called “Tamagotchi L.i.f.e.” followed by “Tamagotchi L.i.f.e. Angel” released in 2014.
This version will be paid and cost $59.99.
