Sweetbridge: Product Update | Wallet Alpha 07.30

  • Monday, 30 July 2018 10:26
Since the last release of new features two weeks ago, we’ve started a security and code audit that will allow us to release the Sweetbridge Wallet into production by next month (August 2018). You will see us integrating several Sweetbridge functions within the wallet (including the SWC buy process and its distribution to SWC buyers). We believe this will reduce the friction that currently exists for members with distributing Sweetcoin to their external wallets. We’ve also reviewed your recent feedback and feature requests to improve the wallet and as a result, we have now improved and implemented the following features. Special thanks to the team for their efforts and our Alpha testers for their suggestions across the feature set:Welcome to the new home for all your assetsNew Login PageWe know that first impressions are important so we decided to change our Alpha’s login page to something more reflective of the experiences that lie within.Your transactions, your way.Filter Your Transaction HistoryWe see the transaction history panel as a valuable tool to help organize members’ financials and get insights into their financial situations. To that end, we’ve created date filtering capabilities so you can now view your financials within a specific period. As requested, we’ve enabled the current and previous months as the default time frame. We’re also working on adding additional functionalities for this component so stay tuned!Easily Increase Your Withdrawal AmountsOur users expressed the desire to start the withdrawal process with the value to withdraw starting at zero and we agree this is a great idea. You can now start with zero and increase your withdrawal amount up to the limit of the amount that is held within that wallet.Instant conversion to your favorite fiat currencySee the Value of Your Crypto In The Fiat Currency Of Your ChoiceAlthough we’ve started with holding cryptoassets in your Wallet, we’ll shortly allow other types of assets as well. So for clarity, we’ve added the current fiat value of each asset on both Sweetbridge and external wallets.More Choice Of External WalletsSince the vision for the Wallet is a “container” for all your financials, crypto, fiat and others, you can now add and display as many external crypto wallets as you wish.Back Buttons During Your Wallet Setup ProcessWe understand as a user you may change your mind or go back to a previous step. During the wallet setup process, you’ll now be able to move back throughout the process right up to the stage of creating your wallet’s keyfile. Note: This is the point where your Sweetbridge wallet is created and hence you won’t be able to go back beyond this point.See What App Version You’re OnTo make sure we all have a shared understanding of which version of the software is being used, we’ve added versioning via an ‘About’ dialog box. This can be reached through the settings button at the top right corner of the global header.Once again, huge thanks to all of our testers for your incredible support and specific feedback. Together we’re creating a better way!Want to find out how we gather feedback to make these changes? Read more hereNot yet got your hands on the Wallet? Sign up to become an Alpha tester here.
