YouTube has definitely become the platform of creating new world-wide stars, one of such examples is PewDiePie who is considered to be the most popular YouTuber with around 93 million subscribers and this number is constantly growing. The famous blogger decided to expand its area of popularity to the promising sphere of life – blockchain. The 29-year-old Swedish star, Felix Kjellberg, has signed an exclusive contract with the blockchain-based live streaming platform DLive. The news was announced by the platform itself. One of his latest videos gathered more than 4 million views in 24 hours, will such cooperation boosts his popularity becomes a question to everyone. According to the statement, PewDiePie will stream weekly on DLive starting from 14th April. On his DLive account, YouTuber has also pointed out that he would support content creators and donate $50,000 to 100 creators. PewDiePie expressed his views regarding to this cooperation: “I’m excited to start live streaming again regularly! DLive is great for me because I’m treated like a real partner, just like all of the other streamers on DLive’s unique platform.” DLive is the platform that rewards its content makers and viewers with its token – Lino. The biggest advantage of the platform is that it does not take any percentage of earnings or charge fees to content creators.
