Sweetbridge was one of three finalists, chosen out of 300+ entrants out of 56 countries. On the 23rd of October, we travelled to Frankfurt to compete along with 9 finalists in the first-ever ‘Aviation Blockchain Challenge’ during the ‘Lufthansa Innovation Forum’ at Lufthansa’s Aviation Centre. Sweetbridge is set to gain from a prospective pilot project with the Lufthansa Group.Here’s some more information about the Aviation Blockchain Challenge.We’ve become the first lending platform for tokenizing titled assets to be approved in the United StatesThis month Sweetbridge has been accepted to take part in Arizona FinTech Sandbox. We are among the first three participants to be accepted. Sweetbridge entered the Sandbox with a very particular use case for our protocols: token-based asset lending on vehicles. We plan to model tokenizing vehicle assets to a maximum of 10,000 Arizona residents over the next two years.As far as we can tell, this pilot project will be the first tokenization of real-world assets that has ever occurred. Read more about our work with the Arizona FinTech Sandbox here.What’s next?Below is a brief summary of next steps you can expect once we close the individual portion access to the crowdsale:We are raising $5m through fundsWe are releasing wallet and accounting protocols in parallelWe are engaging in POCs on rewards programmes with enterpriseWhen funding is complete we will facilitate a medium of exchange for SWCWe are also setting up a Joint Venture with enterprises and corporations (more information below)Our Joint Venture ApproachAs mentioned previously in our recent AMA with Sweetbridge CEO, Scott Nelson, we’ve changed the way that we’re doing things. The now current go-to-market strategy for the Sweetbridge is built on the foundation of the Sweetbridge Joint venture (JV): a JV with multiple corporations from non-competing industries. These medium-to-large enterprises will convert a portion of their existing discounts or rewards programs to assets in order to jump-start the network.
