First of all, let’s give some credit to the company that will be featured in our today’s article. Boston Dynamics is an engineering firm, specializing in robotics. It was created on the base of Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1992. The first loud development of Boston Dynamics was the four-legged robot called BigDog. Source: WikipediaSince that, Boston Dynamics has been frequently creating new robots, which had more and more unique and interesting features. Soon, they started developing not only dog-like, but also human-like robots. Videos with the creations of Boston Dynamics are very popular on YouTube. The truck-pulling video The latest video of the robotics company has blown up on YouTube, titled “Mush, Spot, Mush!”. In this video, we can see the creations of Boston Dynamics pulling a huge truck in the parking lot of the firm. Earlier, the same very robots were  featured in another video, dancing to the song “Uptown Funk” by Bruno Mars. The heroes of the day are 10 robots, called SpotMini dogs. We can totally notice that these tiny robots do not have a hard time pulling a big and heavy lorry truck. Moreover, they are proceeding in unison. This seems pretty impressive, considering the fact that SpotMini dogs are called Mini for a good reason. They are only 0.84 meters in height, and their payload is only around 14 kilograms. As mentioned in the report of Evening Standard, besides demonstrating the unbelievable strength of SpotMini dogs, Boston Dynamics also promise that their robots will have a wide range of functions, including climbing stairs, grabbing and transporting things etc. Moreover, it is the quietest robot of Boston Dynamics, capable of operating for 1.5 hours without charging. SpotMini dogs will soon be put up for sale, however, they will probably be unsuitable for everyday household use, the robots will most likely be found at larger enterprises. The price of one SpotMini robotic dog is currently unknown. We would like to remind you that American scientists developed soft robots, using 3D printers, which have quite impressive features.
