Conservative investing leads to conservative results. Praising Warren Buffett for a 50% USD position/investment and see as validation there are little opportunities in the stock market ignores that his returns past 20 years have been bad at 7% per year and will lead to similar results if followed. This YouTuber is able to analyse Tesla very well, but then concludes it is not a value investment and only a "speculation" because he is unable to put a valuation on the company. I see a person being lead by fear that is about to learn the life lesson that only missed opportunity pain can learn. Similar for his opinion on the stock market and that it is overvalued, using good rational arguments such as Shiller PE ratio but not critically evaluating it, leading to wrong conclusions. In this video I give you the historical returns of stocks and gold and how it clearly shows they have only been average for stocks but are uptrending, while gold also average but downtrending. Also go into inflation numbers as they are so important to evaluate performances, ie: deducting 5.8% inflation, + transaction costs and for some people additional capital gains taxes, Warren Buffett did not make a dime for his Berkshire shareholders in 20 years. Also explain how interest rates follow supply/demand forces, and the Fed just follows market rates, how a good economy will likely pull up interest rates again, yet it will take many decades before interest rates become so high that people are attracted to safety and bonds again.
