A lot of the "big blockers" in crypto are very vocal about their belief that Bitcoin should aim to be "digital cash" as opposed to "digital gold". They believe in quick and cheap transactions, and argue that BTC abandoned the vision spelled out in Satoshi's white paper when they made decisions such as limiting the block size. But setting all technical arguments aside, there's an elephant in the room that prevents Bitcoin from becoming digital cash anytime soon, and in this video I spell out what this is.
