One thing I find extremely bullish for Bitcoin is the fact that MicroStrategy apparently can sell more convertible bonds and buy more Bitcoin, solely because the price of Bitcoin goes up. Preston Pysh has confirmed this. They don’t necessarily need to have a higher profit in their business. This is extremely bullish because Michael Saylor CEO and Founder of Microstrategy is likely to do this, but also because all the other companies that eventually start using Bitcoin as their treasury asset can do the same thing. The MASSIVE difference between this and private people going long on leverage is that they have put up their Bitcoin as collateral and often are stoppedo out in a long squeeze if the price drops enough. This effectively sends these private people’s Bitcoin back on the market for sale, as they are forced to sell. MicroStrategy will never be forced to sell, as their Bitcoin is not up as collateral.
