Most cryptocurrencies are in the red today, struggling to move higher. Bitcoin is still stuck under the $3,500 level. Ripple’s XRP is in the red today, but yesterday we saw some positive movements from XRP. It gained more than 10% after Ripple’s CEO Brad Garlinghouse’s comments at the Paris Fintech Forum regarding his hopes for a potential partnership with Swift. This is not the first time Garlinghouse has shown interest in collaborating with Swift. He spoke alongside Swift’s CEO who announced a partnership with blockchain start-up R3 consortium. He announced a proof-of-concept to trial gpi Link, a gateway to interlink ecommerce and trading platforms with SWIFT gpi – the new standard in cross-border payments. Now let’s take a look at some announcements from some cryptocurrency exchanges this week. Binance has enabled debit and credit card payments for cryptocurrencies through our its partnership with Simplex. As part of Binance’s larger mission to increase the adoption and mainstream accessibility of crypto, Binance users are now able to use Visa and MasterCard to buy BTC, ETH, LTC and XRP. And this week Coinbase introduced its affiliate program for crypto fans who have a website or a blog. Please remember this is news, not investment advice.
