Whoever is going to run the household and stay with the children, men or women, needs to do a great job, just like the one making the money, man or women, needs to do a great job. Many girls are not putting in the hard work to build a great career or business and therefore make little to no money but at same time are also poor performers at home. They often create drama, act jealous, give you silent treatment, are passive aggressive, expect you to give them massage but rarely scratch your back, don't work hard to make sure house & clothes are clean in time, shopping is done, quality meals are made often and children are happy. I don't dig that, and have seen all too often girls trying to transfer some of these homemaker responsibilities to me, on top of paying for it all. This is a no go as it will cost me/us greatly in me starting to under perform in my job where competition is HIGH, leading to a downward spiral of financial misery. I improve their lives greatly by doing my job well and sharing lots of financial resources and wise guidance and protection. I expect them to also improve my life greatly by providing a warm home where chores are done, in a timely manner, by them. If not, better to separate, even in best interest of the children, as accepting parasitical behavior by your partner will quickly be copied by your children, draining you, and preparing them very poorly for the world.
