CoinDesk: Quadratic Funding: Why it Better Funds Public Goods During COVID-19
Donating to charities and funding for public good is a positive thing for everyone. But how can we solve the problem that those with the most money and power determine what projects should be funded? We discuss this idea with Vitalik Buterin, the creator of Ethereum, and Glen Wyl, RadicalXChange Foundation Founder and Chairman, who proposed this concept in a paper last year, co-authored by Harvard PhD candidate Zoƫ Hitzig. This conversation explores how quadratic funding works in the context of COVID-19 relief.
