For the 7th episode of ORANGE PILL, Max and Stacy are joined by guests: Mitch Feierstein, Alakanani Itireleng and Abe Cambridge for a look at bitcoin as love.
Max and Stacy open the episode with a parody of the twin brothers who do reaction videos and so ORANGE PILL reacts to some political leaders and then Jerome Powell at the Federal Reserve. Stacy also notes that in Finnish the phrases, "I'll meet you ... for lunch" sounds a whole lot like "I'll kill you .... for lunch." And perhaps it is similar to what happens with Fed Speak when the free lunch for bankers means someone has to die.
They are joined by Mitch Feierstein from the 'mean streets' of Manhattan where he insists things are returning to a 1970s economic and societal meltdown. Max and Stacy accuse him of being Larry David like in his pessimism only to be proven wrong by some headlines.
Alakanani of the Satoshi Centre in Botswana (home of the honey badger) says that bitcoin makes yer feel at home, bitcoin is love. She says bitcoin is seen as a safe haven in Africa as there is a good chance your local currency could go to zero overnight in many countries on the continent and Africans are looking for something that is powerful that will give them a better future.
Abe Cambridge joins the show to talk about his thoughts on the ener-net and how 'going off grid' is the wrong way to think about individual sovereignty as it is the network that provides the anti-fragility.
