Bitcoin has seen a clear bullish breakout after a long period of extremely low volatility. The daily time frame shows an upward break out not only from two important diagonal resistance lines but also a breakout from the box zone within which it was trading for almost a month. The breakout has been accompanied by higher than average volume which gives it more credibility. Certainly the bulls are in control of the daily time frame. Despite all this bullishness, the fact of the matter is that we are still in a bear market on the weekly time frame and it is here where the burden of proof is still on the bulls.
