So looks like LooksRare is going through some market manipulation… The newly launched, community-driven NFT Market is getting exploited by traders buying and selling NFT’s with their own wallets, and getting $LOOKS token incentives from the trading fees. It’s called wash trading. The NFT’s in question are Meebits. Some are selling for at least $47 million dollars… Meebit #13824 sold for $50.61 million. And Meebits are the target because there’s no royalties on secondary sales. But there are other big and LEGIT NFT sales… The Sandbox sold a 12x12 Mega City Estate for $2.81 million, or 578.790 SAND.
