Bits Be Trippin: Laptop Mining with the Alienware Area 51m R2
This is a quick walkthrough on the Alienware Area 51m R2 new Dell laptop that I had picked up for all of the remote rendering and gaming taskwork when I am out of the studio and office. This beast boast a Intel I-9 10900K with a boost clock to 5.3GHZ! Additionally has 64GB of DDR4 memory and a RTX 2080 Super. Yes I was wanting to hold out for the 11th Gen and the RTX 3000 series, but needed to press ahead with a new laptop sooner than later. I wanted to test some light mining to see just how well this beast can perform.
