CoinDesk: Jack Dorsey Gives Grants to Signal App and Social Network Nostr
Jack Dorsey donated roughly 14 BTC, about $245,000, to further fund development of Nostr, an open protocol that aims to create a censorship-resistant global social network. This comes as Dorsey pledged to donate $1 million annually to encrypted messaging app Signal. "The Hash" panel discusses the implications for the future of decentralized social media.
