NEWSBTC: Hackers Steal BTC From MapleChange, NXMH Acquires Bitstamp - October 30th Cryptocurrency News
Bitcoin sold off sharply on news that a Canadian cryptocurrency exchange was hacked this week. There were reports circulating around that over 900 bitcoins were stolen from Maplechange. According to a twitter post the Maplechange claims that it actually lost only 8 BTC.
Now let’s check out some other crypto news. Cryptocurrency exchange Bitstamp was acquired by NXMH, a Belgium-based investment company. It is owned by NXC, which also owns South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Korbit. Bitstamp and Korbit will continue to operate independently.
