Traders are sueing kracken excahnge over the flash crash in ethereum. this flash crash was unrelated to coinbase but was from hackers. they performed a DDOS hack (denial of service hack and 5 traders lost up to $600k and are going after Kracken for not halting trading. Coinbase is reimbursing Traders from the flash crash that happened on their site keeping their hands clean of lawsuits for the time being. Bitthumb was hacked in South Korea as well. This is the largest exchange in South Korea, showing these hacks can happen anywhere. Get yourself a cold storage wallet and save all your private keys offline so they can't be hacked especially if your a long term holder. I also found a work around for steemit and the pasword problem that many people have. many people dont realize they have to save the long generated password at the begining and then cant sign up for a new acount because the email and phone number they used can't be used again. as a user I can branch off the blockchain and create new accounts. THis costs me about $12 in steem power to do, which send that $12 of steem power to your account so i am doing this for my subscribers for $20. and in turn they get a new account with 6 steem power in it. message me for details if your interested in that.
