David Moss, formerly the SVP of Tech Ops for Block.one, which built EOS. EOS is the number one on blockchain out there right now, raised over $4 billion dollars. David Moss now is getting ready to do a brand new stealth startup. "EOS is an actual real blockchain operating system like the operating system on your phone, that allows many other people to build applications on top of it." EOS and Ethereum are competitors and David said they consider "EOS to be a third generation of the blockchain." The first generation is Bitcoin, the second generation is Ethereum and third generation is EOS. EOS was released on June 2nd and raised over $4 billion. EOS is using it for a number of different purposes. "The main thing is that it's a way for other people to build applications. Today you'll see all sorts of people talking about the cool applications they want to build. But without that operating system, it would be like, again, going to the iPhone store, or the iTunes store, and there wasn't any store, there was just your iPhone, and there are no applications. So the store is essentially the thing that people are now building all the things you can build on top of it. Now that it's there. Now, the operating system there."
