Bitcoin gained more than 10% over the past 24 hours. It climbed past $8,800 so when will we see it reach $9,000 again? Last week we saw it briefly fall below $6,000 on some exchanges. Ether fell under $600 on Tuesday, it then climbed back over $800 on Wednesday and today it remains over this level. Rippleā€™s XRP gained more than 12% over the past 24 hours and it is around $1 dollar and 8 cents. XRP hit a record high on January 4th of almost $3.80. Ripple, the company has signed another partnership. This time it is with UAE exchange. NEO, gained almost 15% over the past 24 hours. We saw it fall below $70 last week, today it is back over $114. It last hit a record high on January 15th when it moved closer to $200. In Iceland, more energy is expected to be used to mine bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies than to power homes this year.
