This is news, not investment advice. The cryptocurrency market is looking pretty red today but Bitcoin still remains over $8,200. Regulators in the US and Canada are investigating suspicious looking cryptocurrency scams. According to The Washington Post, this is the largest coordinated cryptocurrency crackdown to date by state and provincial officials of its kind. Regulators are investigating unregistered securities offerings and ICO’s that are promising big returns without providing investors with all the information and risks involved. They have already started 70 investigations and more are expected to take place over the next few weeks.
