As a US voter, limiting yourself to analyzing the Trump - Biden debate(s) and ignoring the vice-presidential counterpart would be a mistake. While the debate between Kamala Harris and Mike Pence didn't generate nearly as much buzz, the two candidates presented interesting facts through which they articulated their position when it comes to various topics, from macroeconomics to climate change. Mike Pence as well as Kamala Harris did their best to explain how they are positioning themselves in a very tricky post-pandemic context and viewers were able to notice that the difference between approaches are anything but in let's say the realm of nuance. As always, it's important to point out that at the end of the day, both Kamala Harris and Mike pence are politicians rather than economists and their debate needs to be viewed from this perspective. Still, both candidates have highly-respected experts in their teams who did their homework so as to provide the two with the most relevant talking points... did they do a good job?
