Payments company Stripe, whose API supports millions of digital storefronts, has begun assembling a crypto engineering team to chart its future in digital assets. In an industry first, Stripe supported bitcoin in 2014 but abandoned the service four years later. "The Hash" team discusses Stripe's crypto journey from its early beginnings to where it's headed as it dives back into potentially facilitating Web 3 payments.
