Ashton Addison, a blockchain advocator, a YouTube influencer from CryptoCoinShow. He has long been in the crypto space since 2014。 Why you started your YouTube channel for sure. I started the channel to bring more knowledge to people about blockchain technology and show the benefits of using Bitcoin, Ethereum and other cryptocurrencies as opposed to traditional currency. How did you start your own business? What's the mission statement? How far would you are today and tomorrow I started our blockchain project called EventChain, which is a ticketing platform, which utilizes cryptocurrencies as payment to solve the real world issues in the ticketing industry right now, and I saw a lot of issues like counterfeit ticketing, scalping, overpriced tickets, and processing fees and convenience fees, and that cryptocurrency payments could easily solve those problems. And so I created EventChain and did our own fundraising so that we could develop the software so that we could eliminate those issues in the real world and also bring an easy understanding to people that don't know about blockchain to show them. Well, it can solve more problems than just the financial industry can also solve issues in the ticketing industry, insurance, legal, all these other industries as well. So you attend events a lot, so you decide to make this EventChain. Definitely. We're at Token Fest here in San Francisco. EventChain sponsored token fast. We sponsored many events in San Francisco, Miami the Bahamas recently. And there are a lot more events coming this year. And we're really trying to onboard the platforms to educate them on using blockchain ticketing with EventChain, but also help promote them and grow them through our YouTube channel CryptoCoinShow. Do you have some experience to tell the community, which events they should go, when there are so many blockchain events out there？ There's definitely a lot more events popping up, especially in California and San Francisco and LA. It seems like there are multiple events per week now. And yeah, even per day. So what I like to do is look at the backers, the sponsors and the founders and the speakers. And if there are good speakers, for instance, here we have Tim Draper, Adam Draper, Peter Diamandis, the CEO of PolyMath, all these large speakers and they attract quite the crowd so you really have to see, are there big names coming to the conference and the crowd will follow. What's the most challenging thing? The most challenging thing for being a YouTuber is trying to keep up with the cryptocurrency industry one thing they say is that if you're not struggling to keep up with cryptocurrency, then you're not looking hard enough. And because the markets run 24 hours a day, it's not like your regular stock market where the market closes, the market never closes. If you go to sleep in America and in China and Asia, things will be happening and it's very hard to keep up with all of the news. So myself, I just try to produce, you know, three to four videos a week as much as I can keep the public updated on what's the newest in cryptocurrency, what are the newest ICO projects speak to the founders about how the industry is changing in all the different ways What community can help you with, and what you can help with the community? I think that just bringing more awareness to blockchain technology and lowering those technological barriers to entry, to show that there are a lot of advantages to blockchain. And it's not this scary technological thing. So the more people that bring awareness to that and become outspoken to the general public, the faster, more people will become educated and more people will adopt the blockchain industry. You’ve done your ICO right? Yeah, we did an ICO for EventChain last year in September and out of Singapore, and Singapore is very progressive in with their innovative on FinTech and more cryptocurrency and financial industry. It was a good choice and in Singapore, we are directors there we've managed to have a large scale ticketing partnership with high flyer TV backed by Sony Music in Japan. They have up to 5000 events per month and EventChain and I fire TV have a contract since last year to onboard them.
