Many folks have asked for a video on what the significance of Taproot is and why so many Bitcoin Maximalist and Miners are in support of this upgrade. As with any update on a decentralized system, it requires consensus from Miners and Node operators to include the features included in the proposed 'soft fork' to get enough votes to activate (which in bitcoin is setting a parameter flag within the node).
