The cryptocurrency market is in the red today, but Reddcoin is one cryptocurrency that is not struggling today. It gained more than 13% over the past 24 hours. The Redd ID is expected to be released sometime this month. Yesterday Waves announced the release of a system update that will start the process of activating Smart Contracts on the Waves MainNet. The update initialises a process of voting for miners on the network. So let’s take a little look. After reaching the required 80% of votes, the protocol will be activated a week later. When activation occurs, smart contracts will become available for developers who wish to use them in their projects. Waves also tweeted about the launch of SIMDAQ, which is a marketplace and ecosystem based on waves technologies.
