TheTedNelson: Industrial Generalist: The Fangle Droid

  • Thursday, 19 September 2019 08:10
I considered myself an industrial generalist-- I used all kinds of equipment to organize my work. The rotary sorter you can see at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LLCwbuzYEO8 I wish I had videos to show of my - Flexoline system (used for hotel guest lists in the 1960s, I used for outlining) - Buchan Binders (used for auto-parts catalogs in the 1960s, I used for trying to rearrange my huge novel. - the monster book cutter I used for the first editions of Literary Machines (the collector's first edition with white-on-silver mylar cover). And of course Fangles, which I invented and named -- turns out they're available in Europe and Asia under names like "open side and top folders"-- I prefer Fangle, for "filing angle". And here is one of my fangle droids. I bought several while they werre available (it was a kid's beach toy-- I threw away the buckets and shovels.)
